It all started as a hobby—crafting handmade items with my granddaughter, Destiny. She loved taking them to school, where they became a hit with her classmates. Inspired by her entrepreneurial spirit, I turned our shared passion into a business, and that’s how Creative Books Plus, Handmade With Love, came to life.

Together, we began creating personalized books, greeting cards, and handcrafted jewelry. Destiny’s enthusiasm for designing children’s jewelry helped expand our offerings and brought even more creativity to our work.

My journey as an author began long before Creative Books Plus. In 1995, I started writing "Signing for Worship", a reflection of my love for sign language and worship, which was published in 2011. In 2014, I wrote "Words of Wisdom for My Spiritual Daughters", sharing heartfelt guidance for spiritual growth.

Most recently, inspired by YouTube, I created Fearfully and Wonderfully Made in November 2022—a prayer journal designed to connect with a wider spiritual audience.
